| We arrived in Novo Mutum just in time to catch it’s famous agricultural expo, an event which draws people from all over Brazil. |

| We went to take a look at the prize bulls. |

| We were told that they are too valuable to use for meat so their lives will be dedicated to reproduction! |

| They did not seem to mind being touched. |
 |
| They have fantastically flabby flaps of skin under their chins. |
 |
| We also watched newly purchased cattle being marked with the symbol of their new owner. |
 |
| We were not sure whether this was a sheep or a goat (but it’s definitely a male!) |
