| Sand Dunes |
| Medanos de Coro is a National Park which protects a large area of sand dunes adjoining Coro City. The entrance is off a busy street then 100 meters further on you feel like you are miles away from city life. |
| We walked out amongst the sand dunes for sunset. The dunes rise up to 30 meters and stretch as far as you can see. Quite tough going for a day off though. |
| Patterns in the sand. |
| Another nice thing about this National Park is that it is so large you really get a sense of being alone in a vast area. The only footprints we saw were our own. |
